In animal experiments, Brahmi reduced systolic and diastolic blood pressure by activating blood arteries to produce nitric oxide.

12. Chinese Cat's Claw

In traditional Chinese medicine, a cat's claw has been used for centuries to treat a range of diseases, including high blood pressure.

 Its scientific name is Uncaria rhynchophylla, often known as Gou-Teng or Chotoko. Chinese cat's claw includes numerous chemicals, including hirsutine and rhynchophylline. These chemicals may cause blood vessels to create nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a chemical molecule that promotes blood vessel relaxation and dilation.
